This workshop is part of the Graphics Lab, a project aimed at picture retouching to improve the graphical content of the Wikimedia projects. This specific page is the requests page for the Photography Workshop. Anyone can make a request for a photograph to be improved. The standard format for making a request is shown below, along with general advice, and should be followed.

Volkov: recovering an image's overwrited version

@MrKeefeJohn: Recovering the file is easy enough (it was never technically gone), but do you know what the source of the original photograph is? The earliest file versions don't have this info and the info that was added was from the overwritten, current version. ReneeWrites (talk) 14:20, 1 November 2024 (UTC)

@MrKeefeJohn and ReneeWrites: However it looks like the VRT permission ticket only verifies the image uploaded in 2008 and not the original 2005c image. Blurring billboard to avoid deletion

This photo has been nominated for deletion[1] due to the prominent, copyrighted billboard that is visible. We have very few images of this bridge on Commons and they all have billboards in them.
